
There was a time when I was going through my days feeling completely off—forgetting where I’d put my keys, dragging myself through endless tasks, and riding an emotional rollercoaster that left me exhausted. I initially brushed it off, blaming it on the hustle of life or the infamous “mom brain.” But deep down, I knew something was off and started to wonder if there was more to it. I stumbled into an ad about hormone therapy and a lightbulb went off. Could it be my hormones? I decided to, you guessed it, Google it! I was surprised to see the hormone testosterone show up over and over again. Yup, you read it right, testosterone.

I sat down with Nurse Practitioner, Nkechi Ileka-Adeoye, NP, of Divine Care Services, and had an honest conversation. Specifically, my testosterone levels had taken a nosedive, and it was affecting everything from my energy to my mental clarity.
